Mintek Madencilik:
Barakat Group entered in mining sector in 2013 by taking over Mintek Mining Inc. At first stage, the company started projects to build concentrators in order to operate Çirişli and Gökoğlan pits in the same fields. Concentrators began to operate in 2014 and will enrich 300,000 ton/year chromite ore produced by open pit mining to obtain 60,000 tons chromite concentrate with a grade of 48%. The company continues to research and evaluate new investment opportunities to progress in the mining sector.
